Chirping from rear interior

My Escape has started making a chirping or squeaking sound when going over bumps or "bottoming out" on uneven pavement. It sounds like it's the rear seat but the sound happens with or without people sitting in the rear. As with all sounds it's really hard to know exactly where it's coming from. Anyone else experiencing this?
