In Case You Missed the Big Difference Between "Owners' Guide" and "Owner's Manual"

When I took delivery on my 2016 Honda Civic EX, no one told me that the "Owner's Guide" (157 pages) was not, in fact, the complete "Owner's Manual" (589 pages). That Manual is however on the CD I was given (and downloadable).

Information in the complete "Owner's Manual" far exceeds that in the "Owner's Guide". Many details can be magnified to where they can actually be seen and there are many maintenance photos and instructions that are not in the "Guide".

At the "owners.honda" web site you can download the latest version of the "Owner's Manual" and even request a printed copy of same (at no cost up to 6 months after vehicle delivery).

Now if they'd just provide the factory manual free, like Kia did for a while.

Absolutely. It would keep more older Civics on the road and that would be a plus for Honda's reputation, at little expense.
