Expansion Valve 1997 Millenia

Could anyone tell me how to replace a 1997 mazda millenia evaporator coil expansion valve? Or can anyone tell me where it is located? Do I have to remove the dash?

Hello! As to where it is; see the following picture. The apparatus circled in red, the flat disk with the brass fittings is the expansion valve.
