2004 CR-V Door lock issue

I have a 2004 Honda CR-V. My Driver's door lock won't turn when I insert the key, otherwise the lock works fine locking and unlocking any other way but with the key. I was told by Honda that it would cost about $250.00 to fix. I can buy the kit and replace the tumblers myself for around $115.00. My question is this, before I spend the money on either of those options, can I just swap out the wafers / tumblers from the front passenger door with the ones in the driver's door? I am the only one that uses this car and never unlock the passenger door with the key. Would be cheaper if I could just swap out the tumblers and wafers.
