Traction control&Vsc issues. Will disabling traction control fix the problems caused by sensors?

    If you disable the traction control, you will also lose your ABS. Brakes will still work, but can lock in slippery conditions.

    And will that be worse than the problems you're experiencing? What kind of issues are you having?

    Would a poor working traction control system make the Check Engine alert to come on ?

    No. The "Check Engine" light is strictly about emissions. The opposite could be true however, a problem with the engine control system can cause a traction control/stability control system issue.
