    It could be an issue with the app itself. If you haven't already, check Google Maps Settings>Navigation to make sure "Play voice over bluetooth" is turned on.

    If it's already turned on, try turning it off and close the app. Then open the app again and turn "Play voice over bluetooth" back on again. It looks like a lot of folks have had this problem.
