2016 / 2017 4runner reliability?
I'm looking to purchase either a 2016 or 2017 (when released) 4runner Limited. I'm the original owner of a 2wd 2000 Isuzu Trooper, and couldn't be happier with it's reliability, and am trying to replace the Trooper with a vehicle of comparable reliability.
I presently don't need 4wd, however I'm considering both the 2wd and 4wd models. I would expect the drive train to be extremely reliable on the 2wd, however I have no idea regarding the 4wd. What is the reliability and added cost of maintenance with the full time 4wd on the 4runner?
The Limited model comes with a lot of bells and whistles. Should I expect to be able to drive the 4runner 12-15 years without many issues, other than general maintenance items?
