Loving my EX-T. The Android Auto system is definitely awesome and people's complaints about a lack of volume knob make little sense to me as I use the steering wheel controls. I agree about the sound. There's something unsettling about driving it hard at having it be somewhat loud and kinda whiny/droning, but honestly I rarely don't drive it hard and enjoy the great MPG. No issues for me yet.

"But I also have a thing for cars that hit their EPA numbers in ordinary (read: faster) highway driving"

This ridiculous expectation among Edmunds staff is really annoying.

You're being very unrealistic, since the *average* speed on the EPA highway driving protocol is 48 mph. Physics says you shouldn't hit the EPA highway figure at 70-75 mph. If you achieved that with the BMW, it's probably because BMW understates their self-tested EPA figures so they don't get fined or sued.

I don't remember the Civic having been mentioned for a poor quality ride. Are the shocks on their way out already?
