Turbo Problem

Has anyone had any experience with a loss of power associated with a screeching noise when the RPM goes over 2000. My guys think it is the turbo. All of the hoses related to the turbo charger system are new. The variable pitch linkage has not been checked yet.

    Pretty easy to nail down with a mechanic's stethoscope.
