Rusty front brake rotors.

I'm wondering if the front brakes of my Sonata are ever engaged. The front rotors are always rusty and the car seems to stop well. Any ideas?

A rusty rotor face after driving would indicate a seized caliper that's not applying equal braking pressure to both sides of the rotor. The rotor face should have a bright metallic look after driving.
