whirring sound - 2005 Jeep Liberty

There is a weird whirring sound coming from underneath somewhere; It starts when I hit around 30 MPH or so and as long as I am on the throttle to maintain speed. It started happening just before I had to replace the front drive shaft. and has only gotten worse. Does any one have any ideas? I have an 05 Liberty 3.7
