I just purchased 2004 srx in November 16. I was driving home about a month ago and the radio flashed service engine soon and would not go pass 40mph. I took it to local Auto zone and was told new throttle needed. I just purchased new throttle and some expensive pig tail from dealership. Im still having the same freaking issue no acceleration except now its not even going 2mph. I need help asap. If this many people are having this issue then new parts should be covered free of charge.

Sounds like you need to get it to someone who can properly diagnose the issue rather then just read codes and throw parts at it for your 13 year old vehicle.

It wasn't that long ago that there were a lot of people who were constantly calling the shops and techs rip-offs for making the investment in tools and training to be able to deal with these kinds of problems. In virtually every one of those stories they told consumers to go get the free code pulls and do the repairs themselves as they claimed that all anyone had to do was pull the codes and that would tell them as it supposedly did the techs what part to change. When a consumer today encounters a given problem and cannot find a shop/tech qualified and capable of solving it they need to be reminded of how techs were treated and why there is such a shortage of qualified techs today.
