We recently purchased a 2001 Volvo V70 T5.. we have replaced the MAP and MAF sensors, actually replaced the MAF sensor yesterday, and a few hours later had no brake lights whatsoever.. the car still brakes, but no lights, the fuses are good, the relay for the bottom two is bad which is why we wired it into the 3rd light because no matter what fuse we put in they still wouldn't work and continuously clicks even with a new one in, if anyone knows what wrong with that please let me know.. anyways we even checked the brake fluid and it's still good.. our shifter broke so you have to force it into any gear, could that be a problem as well?? My fiancé took unhooked the battery for about 5-10 min to put the MAF sensor on and we went fishing and he took it off again for about 30 min to try to reset it and a little bit later checked the brake lights and they wouldn't come on.. I don't know if any of this helps but we are desperate to fix this car.. also the ABS, Check Engine, and Traction Control lights came on. It has 199,731 miles.. we just tried to tap into the wires for the trailer area to tap the brake lights into it, the wire showed hot til he went to do it and then it has no fire.. I'm confused as hell
