Electrical problems on ML550 , headlights begin flashing

After sitting for a while headlights begin flashing and cannot be turned off. One rear turn signal not working, bulb is good. Right brake light not working, bulb is good. I've always been able to fix these kind of things but have not been able to find the problem.
