    Be interested to see how long it takes for an Edmunds staffer to get a ticket in California for no front plate.

    Seriously, I hope the infotainment system holds up better than the glitchy system in the XE.

    It won't need front plates. Since it's a loaner, it has manufacturer plates, which means no need for a front plate, even in CA.

    Pretty disappointed you didn't go for the diesel (I don't think you've ever had a diesel SUV). My other gripe about the F-Pace is that you have to step up to the Prestige trim in order to get a fold-down center armrest in the backseat and seatback pockets. Really? That's some ridiculous cost-cutting on Jag's part.

    If I'm going to lose the sportiness of a car and trade it for the comfort and utility of an SUV, then I think I'd rather get the upcoming Volvo XC60. It just looks comfier.
