    It's a beautiful car, but a shame that it cannot earn an IIHS Top Safety pick. I don't understand why, when Ford went out of their way to beef up the front end of the F-150 to earn the award, that they would ignore the Explorer. I cannot see someone actually viewing the small overlap front crash test video then going out to purchase one of these.

    That is really disturbing and disappointing. It's my favorite SUV in the class but now I'm reconsidering.
