2001 Suburban service engine light & reduced engine power message

My son's vehicle. It is a 2001 Suburban 2500m 3/4 ton, 4 wd, 8.1 liter. He has been getting the service engine light & reduced engine power message, so far he has changed the TPS and APS, no help. Trying to get the computer read for the codes. Any suggestions with this little bit of information?

    Edit - he just had the code read and it has a P1125 APS and P1221 TPS. But he has changed both of those.
