Which Impreza hatches came with GPS / Navigation

The Boss would like to get an Impreza (or Forester) to replace her 2008 Matrix. Which ones came with the GPS / Navigation system between 2014 and today?

    The 2014 Impreza/Forester had a factory unit made by Fujitsu, NAV did not work very well. The 2015 and 2016 had a newer Starlink unit on Limited trims. All non-nav cars can be updated with an aftermarket unit as they use a standard Nissan wining harness. The 2017 Impreza has imbedded NAV on the Limited. Other units have Android Auto/Apple Car Play so you can get the NAV through your phone.

    Is the GPS system in the new model reliable, should I buy a 3rd party GPS or no? I might plan to purchase the vehicle and might as well buy a new GPS and attach it if the pre-built GPS is subpar.
