2005 Chevy suburban transmission clicks while accelerating

HI there, my 05 suburban has a weird clicking noise while accelerating, it's got over 300k mile's on it. The sound is based on the engine rpms, not the cars speed. And happens mainly when I have driven a short while, turn the car off (to go to the store, etc), then turn it back on. It's a very audible constant click. The higher the rpms, the faster the click. It doesn't happen whIle idle or in nuetral, has to be accelerating. Happens in all gears. Any ideas as to what could cause it? Thanks
