2006 Chevy Tahoe Service Airbag light

I am not sure why this light came on. Other than the wiring under seat might be loose ? I've taken it to have it checked and no code is coming up ? Has anyone else had this issue ?

    Where did you take it?
    If they came up with nothing and the light is on, then they probably do not have the correct diagnostic equipment to read body control codes.
    Most people and most scanners will not read airbag codes.
    The scanner has to have manufacturer specific code information to read airbag codes, which are body control module codes.

    So, auto parts stores and the like aren't going to have capabilities to read airbag codes.
    Check with dealer for any airbag recalls before doing anything else.
    After that, then you will need to find a place that can read airbag codes.

    Did you check the wiring under the seat? Is it loose?
    If it is, fix the known problems before tackling the unknown problems.
