edited July 2017 in Honda
Got a quote of $30,000 for a 2017 CRV Touring...is this a good price in July?? Several CRV Touring vehicles on the lot. Add MA sales tax of 6.25%, plus docs/fees I am looking at over $32,000. Would like to stay at or under $30,000 out the door. is this possible? Salesman and Internet person said they can't budge from $30,000 for vehicle only. Is this true???

Hello @newnegotiator I appraised a 2017 FWD Touring CRV using Edmunds True Market Value. Edmunds True Market Value or TMV pricing is a powerful tool that helps shoppers get a good deal on a new or used car. Based on actual sales data, TMV is a guide to what other people in your area paid for the same car. You can build, price and obtain TMV on any car with the link below.

    https://www.edmunds.com/tmv.html

According to TMV a Touring CRV has an MSRP of $33,435 and an average selling price of $32,377. I have attached a screenshot of my appraisal with this message. The dealers offer of 30K is FANTASTIC!!!! Especially if this CRV is an AWD model as the price is even higher on an AWD. I do not see any further room for discount and recommend purchasing the car at that price.

You will also want to make sure the dealer is being fair and honest when it comes to the fees of the vehicle. Fees such as local tax, registration fees, and documentation fees are non-negotiable. To learn more about what fees to pay, [click here](http://www.edmunds.com/car-buying/what-fees-should-you-pay.html)

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Thanks!
