Wiper motor going bad?
My windshield wipers are acting crazy and it's driving ME crazy! When i start my car they come on, even though they are in the off position. After fiddling with them for a minute, just turning them up to the high setting and then low again and again they will usually stop for a while. But they will come back on again while driving. Again still in the off position. And until all the fluid was sprayed out, no matter what it was set on i was getting fluid sprayed all over the windshield too. And sometimes they wont stop and you can still hear it trying to spray the washer fluid. They will go fast on just about any setting and then slow down. Then they will seem to settle into an intermittent pace before speeding up again. I have been told that it's the motor by one friend that is a mechanic, and that it's an electrical issue by another. From what i've read in other forums and troubleshooting guides it seems more like the gearbox.... please give me some advice. I don't have the money to spend in a shop this time.

It could be a regulator or relay or control module or complete wiper motor depending on what we're working on.
