So our problem is on my Lincoln that sitting in a driveway at an idol it will never overheat no matter five minutes or two hours it will never over it now as soon as I get two minutes down the road it starts overheating and it's not just one time it's every time I change the water pump and the thermostat and I'm kind of stumped

I think you have to be very careful when draining/changing coolant in these - an air bubble can wreak havoc! Coolant must be filled in the entire engine - just guessing.

I have the exact same problem. Just had the system drained, flushed and filled at the dealer. Problem still exists. I'm at my wits end.
