    I really wanted to like the F Pace. I have not heard about the transmission imperfection, but the usual Jag electronic gremlins seem to abound for all testers. Thank goodness I went for the Macan GTS. That transmission pause issue you describe here would drive me nuts. Yes, this F Pace is less expensive ... it's the law of diminishing returns. the GTS is not twice as good as a Golf R or Focus RS, but it's still better than the rest of the 5-passenger hatchbacks (yes, it's so small it's really a hatchback).
