tranny, u joints, or drive shaft?
just recently this problem started, when i would start my truck and try to go into drive, it wouldn't go right away, i would have to give it a minute. Starting a few days ago, it feels like it shifts really hard or not at all. it only happens when i first start accelerating after a stop, or when i am going 55-60, when going 55-60, it seems to jolt forward, i have to take my foot off the gas, go back down to 50, try again, and then it goes through the speeds fine. it is a 2000 dakota 4.7l V8 manual. any ideas?
