Does anyone have a list of the differences between the 2018 and 2017 XC90?.

I noted on the dealer websites that the fuel economy of the T6 changed from 20/25mpg (2017) to 20/27 (2018). Did they tweak the engine or did the EPA testing methodology change?

thanks
Steve

Hello @steve_turner the only changes I am seeing for the 2018 XC90 are the following. For 2018, the Volvo XC90 gets some additional equipment as standard such as adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (previously optional) are now standard as well.

I do not see a change in horsepower or torque either. For 2017 the EPA changed their testing methods, so the 17 and 18 are tested the same way. This is just an educated guess but Volvo may have programmed the XC90 different for 2018. That is the only thing I can think of that would change the fuel milage. I will continue searching for information but as of now I have not found anything different on the 2018, that would change the fuel milage.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions!

    Thanks!
