2005 Chevy Silverado stalling on take off .

My 5.3 L Chevy Silverado will start fine and idle fine but when you go to take off it will cut out bad and even die but starts right back up. Will run smooth down the highway as long as maintain a steady speed . What's causing this ?

Sounds like the throttle plate is dirty.
Does it get better when it warms up?

danny0704 Did you ever find out what was wrong? My 07 Silverado is doing the same, I've changed the Throttle Position Sensor, Gas Cap, Vacuum Purge Valve (per Codes) I've cleaned the throttle body, Reset my ECM, still having the same problem! Mine runs fine at highway speeds, but sucks in "stop and go" driving.
