2001 Mazda 626 overheating and loss of power
recently picked up a 2001 626 and financed for a young couple. the car was their choice. well the car overheated on them and they left it along road. it gets towed and now i have to pay the tow bill to get the car back. i pick it up and it runs but missing badly, get about 10 miles and it over heats and after letting it cool down decide migh be better to tow rest of the way. my thinking is waterpump or thermostat but not sure if the engine is now toast or maybe a timing issued.
