Ford Mustang convertible - $9K budget

Hello everyone, I finally saved up about 8-9k ( my limit for myself to get a car ) I really want to get a convertible mustang and so does my wife We want to have a convertible fun car for summer times I was just wondering what do you guys think? Should I go for it or use that money to get something else? If so, what are your suggestions? I’m all over the place
