Hey everyone, I have about 9-10k to spend and I'm looking for a first car, want something with relatively low miles but I also want a newer car (atleast 2011+) Any advice would be greatly recommended. The only thing I've really found so far is '13 Ford Focuses and I've heard those are really bad. Also, I'm a total car noob, but what's it called when you have turn signal lights on your mirrors? I want that too if possible.

I 2nd the MAzda 323. Tough to go wrong on those for $10k-$11k. At that price, the Civics, Corollas, etc will be miled up. Focus has a terrible transmission. I agree to stay away from those.

Mazda gets my vote. It is as reliable as the Honda and Toyota.
