Honda Civic 2016 Airbag

A diagnostic supposedly revealed a problem with a right side curtain airbag. Does anyone know whether a failure of this airbag, in and of itself, means that the other airbags (front passenger and driver) will not deploy during an accident? Also, how does the fact that the light is off (as it is now), affect any possible deployment?
