I have an 08 F-250/6.4 diesel. Can I mix the green anti-freeze w/the yellow? I know not the orange.

The first thing people need to know about engine coolants is that the color is meaningless. Lot's of coolants are available in multiple colors, G05 being a good example. You can get it in yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, clear. (coolant is actually colorless and they just add dyes to it) It is used by John Deere, any guess what color it would be then?

Your truck calls for Motorcraft Premium Gold which is a G05 coolant. That is all you really need to look for.

G05 is the factory fill for some Ford vehicles, some Chrysler, and Mercedes Benz. It is available in partial and full blends which means it is also used in HD (heavy duty) where specific supplements can be required. When you see some coolants that are advertised (branded) as "universal" which when you really learn about them teaches you that there is no such thing, they are quite often a G05.
