Transition truck will turn of when in gear only when is cold

I have a 2004 chevy Colorado 3.5 automatic got the trany reblit now only in the morning or afther siting for a long hrs
when I turn it on and go it will stall and turn off ...if I let it worm up it work fine. I took it to the shop they cant find no problem . it dose have a misfire on # 2 any Idea?...thanks....I am working to fix the misfire I wonder if that could be the problem
