We replaced the compressor, replaced the a/c lines, put in freeon, it runs cold for approx one week then it stops cooling. Also replaced radiator plastic overflow bucket as it was brittle and crumbled apart.

So I'm stuck as to what could be the reason car stopped cooling. Any ideas? All serious replies welcomed.

What are the pressures? Too little pressure or too much and the system will most likely kick out.
Was the compressor pre-charged with oil? Or did you put the correct amount of oil in it?
Is the blend door operating correctly?
