Won’t always start

Put a new alternator and battery and serpentine belt on a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3 . It starts at times but then nothing . Not even a click that the starter is getting any power to it . But then if I put a booster on it from a charger and set it to start ... The truck will start ..... I can turn it off and it will start up right away ....

Make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight.
Sounds like the ground is loose.
