Well, in terms of fears, I don't think it's completely irrational. Gas pumps are used many, many times every day and have been for many, many years. Fuel Cells are not. The fact that they often need to go through "maintenance" means that who knows what things have been adjusted and redone. That being said, it's still silly though to do that...

Have you guys gotten your A1 quote yet? It is INSANE! $600 for me. I'm told they are replacing the Ion Exchange Filter and Ion Insulation fluid along with the tire rotation. I am going to be very bummed if this is an every 10k or so miles service. At the very least warn future lessees before we sign up for this experiment.

Would also love to hear what the service advisor tells you for reason and frequency.

Update; appears Honda NA has lowered the cost of the A1 service as of this week. I'm now getting quotes in the $330-$350 range.

My temporary hydrogen fuel card of $750 is almost out. I've had the car for 6 weeks now. I should have received the permanent card 2 to 4 weeks. Anyone receive theirs in the 2-4 week time frame? Curious to hear what others experience regarding this.

I'm on my third hydrogen card now, I don't think there is a permanent card as they claimed during the lease agreement. I received $1500, $1500 and latest is $5000. I do not recall how long it took to get the second card but it was before the first ran out.

Do save up for that first A1 service, I hit it at 8 months and 12k. The service rep told me expect it to recur at the same intervals.
