Car is 7 months old bought in August 2017. Turned on the a/c since it was very hot day during the winter months. Heard a noise coming from the passenger side of the vehicle and noticed there was water buildup on my weather tech mats. Unfortunately water also leaked into the carpet and padding. Bring it to the dealership. Told me the hose was clogged and not covered under warranty. Was told by the dealership that there is nothing I can do to prevent this problem. Paid the dealership for labor to fix the problem. Also paid another company to shampoo and dry out my rug and replace the padding. Cost me additional $300 plus tax.
I contacted Subaru customer service about the situation. Told me not to park under trees and keep the windshield cowel free of debris. Kind of hard to do not to park under trees since I live in New Jersey. I already kept the cowel clean. Told me to reach out to the dealership to resolve the water problem. Never did per above
