Bought a 2008 Kia Rondo EX V6 used with 56,000 miles in January of 2011. As of March 2018 we've taken it up to 215,000 miles. Timing belt lasted much longer than recommended...we replaced it just last summer at over 200,000 miles. Yes, we pushed our luck WAY TOO LONG on this item. Other than a weird vapor lock condition after the gas tank is filled which usually cclears up after five minutes of driving, we've had no major issues.

This car overall has been the best vehicle I've ever had in over 40 years of driving. Drove a 1971 Datsun 1200 for years that might have been better except for the fact that they dissolved in salt country after 100,000 miles. The V6 in the Rondo reminds of of the Datsun 1200 engine...it seems like it wants to run forever. Plus, the Rondo body is holding up great, it's very comfortable inside. Would almost consider giving the car an engine and transmission transplant with a scrapped donor Rondo with lower mileage, if it comes to that.
