Why does your long term test of the Disco read like that of a Highlander? Please get appropriate "footwear" and compare its off-road capability to the other offroad tools in the Edmunds garage.

Hallelujah! After about 2 years of being unable to comment here because the commenting system is incompatible with Chrome & IE, I'm finally back! (Memo to Edmunds staff: If you're wondering why comment participation has cratered on these pages in the past couple of years, it's not because people are no longer interested...for the love of god, look into your tech.)

Back on topic: I want to like this vehicle. The previous version got even worse mileage, so maybe we can see these results as glass-half-full in comparison? Still need to see how it does off-road, and whether there are any mechanical issues down the line. No Android Auto is a big disappointment, especially since they just revamped the whole infotainment system after years of bad reviews.
