Intense vibrations

Okay, so I have a 2006 mazda mx5, 151,000 miles and the problem I've ran into is that I shifted fast and than heard a clunk under my seat. Engine light came on with a code for the knock sensor that unfortunately was intermittent. Replaced it and ever since it hasn't ran the same. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like is the engine is what's running rough, and it's not a wheel or tire causing the vibration.

that too-fast-shift may have caused timing belt or chain to skip over a gear tooth resulting in timing being way off. consider inspecting timing chain and timing gear for damage or looseness, and check and any pulleys/springs that keep it tight, make sure it's all in spec.
