May was a busy month for our 2018 Jeep Wrangler, but not for the right reasons. It went to the shop for bumper repair and got flagged for a recall. And with summer approaching, we decided it was time to switch to the soft top. It didn't go as smoothly as expected.

    Regarding the comment about the motoring smells -- that's always how it is. I could be surrounded by Teslas, but the moment I think, "What a nice day, I think I'll put down the windows for some fresh air" -- That's when a duct-taped-together 1976 Mercedes 300D magically pulls in front of me. Or the second most common culprit, a landscaper's severely overloaded '85 Toyota pickup, whose catalytic converter has long since been sold for gas money.
