Barely moves in reverse

2007 Jeep Wrangler automatic transmission. Just replaced the shifter cable.
Ran fine for a few weeks, and now when you try to back up in reverse, the jeep barely moves.
You have to really press on the gas to get it to move and then it makes a clicking sound.
