windshield weather stripping falling apart?

My 2010 corolla s has the windshield weather stripping falling apart at the top on the windshield. Does anyone know how this is fixed? Do you need to remove the windshield to replace it?

I'm worried it may start to allow water inside the car. Here is a pic.
