Back-Up Camera Problem
Looking for info on the repair of the Back-up/Reverse camera function of my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
When shifting into reverse, I either get a blank black screen, a blank blue screen ( both with or without the "Check all surrounding areas" banner at the top) or distorted graphics but no real "picture" from the back-up camera.
Last year I spent over $1200 attempting to get my back-up camera to work and now it's not working again. So far, the shifter module has been replaced, the camera has been replaced and the wiring harness ha been replaced. electro conductive grease was also applied to the connections.
Could it be a grounding problem? Or another component? If so, what?
I'm beginning to believe the dealership technicians that have been working on it don't know what they're doing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
