HONDA ODYSSEY GAS PING

I HAVE A 2006 ODYSSEY.
THE PINGING I HAVE HAD WAS RECTIFIED BY REPAIRS DONE ON THE VAN.
THE ENGINE AIR FILTER HOUSING WAS CRACKED AND LEAKING AIR.
I REPLACED IT AND THAT HELPED A LOT.
THE FIX SEEMS UNCONVENTIONAL DO TO THE IDEA OF HOW PING IS CAUSED, BUT IT DID HELP.
IT DIDN'T GET RID OF ALL OF THE PING. I TRIED TO RUN REGULAR TO SEE HOW GOOD THE FIX WAS. AFTER RUNNING A HALF OF TANK, THE PING FROM REGULAR GOT BETTER ONLY BECAUSE THE COMPUTER MADE ADJUSTMENTS.
BUT THE ADJUSTMENTS WERE NOT GOOD ENOUGH, SO BACK TO PREMIUM.
NOT ALL OF THE PING HAS GONE AWAY.
THE PING IS NOTICEABLE AT 1900 RPM. NO MATTER WHICH GEAR YOU ARE IN IT'S 1900 RPM.
I BELIEVE THAT HONDA HAS AN ENGINEERING DESIGN PROBLEM AND THEY KNOW IT CAN NOT
BE FIXED AT THIS POINT. I BELIEVE THEY WANTED TO MAKE THE GAS ECONOMY AS GOOD AS IT
CAN GET AND DIDN'T REALIZE THAT A PERFECTLY CLEAN, NEW ENGINE IS NOT THE SAME AS AN
ENGINE WITH 50K MILES ON THE ENGINE SYSTEM.
IF ANYONE HAS HAD ANY LUCK WITH THE FIX ON THIS PROBLEM, PLEASE LET ME KNOW...
