Starting issue

My 2008 Dakota only starts with a jump I had battery tested and it checked out still no change so I put a new battery in and same problem but it starts every time without hesitation with a jump can anyone help me

    Since you put in a new battery, did you clean the clamps that attach to the battery? Since it starts with juice from a jump, it feels like you have some bad connections. After that, I'd look at the cables themselves. Could be that the extra juice from a second battery (the jump) overcomes any loss you have.
