stuck in park until warmed up
hey all,
New to this forum but wondering if anyone has seen this issue. We just purchased a 2007 Jeep Sahara. Took it home and next day started it to take it out and it would not come out of park! the day we bought it I noticed that he had a leak in the roof freedom top dripping right on the shifter (not put on properly). So, I figured it was frozen water on the shifter, right? So let it run for a bit... 5-10 min.. and it then would come out of park. However, after letting it set in garage to dry out, once back outside in cold, it did it again so wondering if it is something else? thoughts? I've read about the back way to get it to come out of park but not interested in that. Want a real fix if possible. The Jeep runs excellent other than this one issue.
