Audio problem
Bought a 2008 Buick Enclave 2 months ago and only have warranty for transmission and motor! the audio stopped working!! Everything is muted. Turn signals, radio, everything! I see a lot of reviews about the same problem. What do I do?

I know what I would do based on a phone auto repair guy on Cincy radio: I'd disconnect the batter cables, both, and connect them together for 30 minutes to drain all computers and modules where there are capacitors retaining memory. Then reconnect and start the car and allow to idle for 10=15 minutes. Then drive slowly to allow all the engine controls to relearn their settings.
He suggests this to fix various problems. Sometimes people call back and say it works.
This is agreeing that it could be a module that has lost its setting.
If this problem is happening, what do people posting about it around the internet forums say they found fixed it?
BTW, my Cobalt has losts it's left speaker and with it the turn signal click sounds. Occasionally it came back for a while and then disappeared. I'm betting all sound for the left door speak goes through a module that can add the turn signal sound. I haven't dug in to the radio to open and reconnect modules. I'll do more research.
Your problem reminds me of how everything goes quiet when the OnStar or phone is chosen on my GMs or with an incoming call on the phone when OnStar free phone calling was still in effect. My first call on my Malibu '14 was a call from a fake IRS scam. I was driving along and the old phone ringer sound came on... I had to figure out how to answer on the touch screen. First drive in the car after picking it up from the dealer and it was the OnStar phone number assigned to it. LOL
Good Luck.
