I have a 2006 Magnum 5.7L Dashboard readout says 99psi oil pressure with sensor disconnected. HELP!

Oil pressure reading was 50psi with engine off went to 99 as soon as engine started. have disconnected sensor, now says 99psi with engine off.

    Apparently just a bad sensor. attached new one, with engine off, is at 0. Pissed that original sensor went bad a year ago (read zero all the time). spent extra money for new one at dealership like several discussion boards suggested, and it lasted less than a year. Can't wait to trade this thing in.
