2019 Insight - word "dismiss" on dashboard means what ?

In my 2019 Honda Insight, on the screen in front of the driver, there appears the word "dismiss". Sometimes it's lit up, sometimes not.

In all of the 672 pages of the Owner's Manual I find no mention of this whatever. What is it ?

    usually means ignore a message like "fuel low"

    Hadn't expected a reply! What would trigger a message to "ignore" any indicator ?
